A Saipem conquistou dois contratos offshore, um na Guiana e outro no Brasil, no valor aproximado de US$ 1,9 bilhão.
O primeiro contrato foi concedido pela subsidiária da ExxonMobil, ExxonMobil Guyana Limited, para o desenvolvimento proposto do campo petrolífero Whiptail, localizado no bloco Stabroek, ao largo da Guiana, a uma profundidade de água de aproximadamente 2.000 metros. O escopo de trabalho da Saipem inclui o projeto, fabricação e instalação de estruturas submarinas, risers, linhas de fluxo e umbilicais para uma grande instalação de produção submarina.
A Saipem realizará operações usando seus navios de última geração FDS2, Constellation e Castorone, e implantará como principal local de fabricação para seu modelo de execução a Instalação de Construção Offshore da Guiana da Saipem, localizada no Porto de Georgetown, aumentando um crescimento estável e sustentável no país. Sujeito às aprovações governamentais necessárias, à sanção do projeto pela ExxonMobil Guyana Limited e seus co-empreendedores do bloco Stabroek e a uma autorização para prosseguir com a fase final, a concessão permitirá que a Saipem inicie algumas atividades limitadas, nomeadamente engenharia detalhada e aquisições.
O segundo contrato foi concedido pela Equinor para o projeto Raia, o desenvolvimento de um campo de gás e condensado do pré-sal na Bacia de Campos, localizado a cerca de 200 km ao largo do estado do Rio de Janeiro, no Brasil.
O escopo de trabalho da Saipem abrange o transporte offshore e a instalação de uma linha submarina de exportação de gás e equipamentos associados em lâminas d’água de cerca de 2.900 metros, bem como as atividades de perfuração horizontal para a abordagem em terra. A Saipem implantará seu navio de lançamento de tubos de última geração Castorone para as obras de instalação.
Com esse projeto, a Saipem contribuirá para a realização de um dos mais importantes projetos de desenvolvimento de gás do Brasil, que poderá representar 15% da demanda interna total do País. O gás extraído será transportado por meio de gasodutos instalados pela Saipem por aproximadamente 200 km do campo até uma unidade de recebimento de gás a ser construída em Cabiúnas, na cidade de Macaé, no Estado do Rio de Janeiro.
As duas premiações confirmam, mais uma vez, a competitividade da oferta da Saipem em processos licitatórios e a capacidade de construir parcerias de longo prazo com base em desempenhos consistentes. Além disso, fortalecem ainda mais a visibilidade sobre a utilização dos principais ativos da Saipem ao longo de 2027.
